Andrea & Chris: Married, Solitude Springs Farm
Andrea and Chris were married at Solitude Springs Farm on a very hot and extremely humid summer day a few weeks ago. I met up with Andrea as she and her girls got ready at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods, while my second shooter, Angie, hung out with the guys just a few floors below.
As soon as Andrea arrived at Solitude Springs Farm, Andrea and Chris had their first look in a tucked away spot, then they got ready for the ceremony to begin. The ceremony was held overlooking the pond on the property, with thunder clouds threatening off in the distance. The ceremony finished without a single raindrop and we rolled smoothly into family portraits. After photographing the families, we explored the property to see what it had to offer. There was so much to photograph there – a small patch of grapevines, bamboo, a japanese garden, stonework, fences – you name it, we could find it. After pictures, Andrea and Chris were introduced into their reception and had their first dance. Everyone sat down for dinner and few heartfelt toasts were made. Angie and I snuck the newlyweds away for a few minutes for some more relaxed portraits once the harsh midday light had subsided a bit. Dancing began and Andrea and Chris spent the evening mingling and dancing with their guests.
Thank you so much, Andrea and Chris for inviting me to spend the day with you! I had a great time!
