Samantha and William were married in Newport a couple weeks ago. They were married at King Park in an intimate ceremony surrounded by 45 of their closest friends and family. After the ceremony, Samantha and William exited under the traditional sword arch which always makes for some fun images! We went directly to the Officer’s Club on Newport’s Navy Base for a lunchtime reception. Lunch featured an incredible spread of southern style barbeque – ribs, chicken, cornbread, baked beans and watermelon – all dangerous things for a bride (AND groom) wearing white to partake in on their wedding day. No food was spilled, thankfully, and after lunch dancing began. At the end of the reception, Samantha & William exited surrounded by their guests waving flags with well-wishes written on them. From there, we took pictures around the city, dodging raindrops, taking cover inside their favorite bar, Pour Judgement, for a pint. We finished off the afternoon at Newport’s famous Cliffwalk. It was a great day – regardless of the weather – I had a blast! Thanks, guys!
